Today we blessed 6 families in our local community and hosted our Homeless Outreach Food Distribution at Hotel Lafayette in Downtown Eastonš
One of my favorite parts of this ministry is getting the opportunity to visit with the families we serve and spend a little time just talking, laughing, and catching up.
I always hate feeling rushed when weāre out making deliveries because I genuinely enjoy taking my time and āchewing the fatā with all of the wonderful folks weāve come to know through Psalm 346 Ministries. These arenāt just deliveries to us. Over time, relationships are formed, friendships grow, and people become part of our P346 family. ā¤ļø
Unfortunately, Saturdays can get pretty hectic! With such a busy and tightly packed schedule, weāre often racing against the clock, and I donāt always get to spend as much time visiting with everyone as Iād like. But even those few extra minutes of conversation mean so much to me.
Later in the afternoon, we had another lovely time at Hotel Lafayette for our Homeless Outreach Food Distribution! Everyone was able to make their food selections while we talked, laughed, and enjoyed one anotherās company.
There is something special about the crew at Hotel Lafayette. We always enjoy visiting with you guys, and you make our outreach afternoons something we genuinely look forward to.
You guys are the best! ā¤ļø
At P346, this ministry has never been only about handing someone a box or a bag of food. Itās about showing up. Itās about listening. Itās about relationships. Itās about reminding people that they are seen, valued, and cared about.
And sometimes, a good conversation and a few laughs can nourish the heart just as much as food nourishes the body.
God bless every family and every friend we had the privilege of spending time with today. šā¤ļø
