4,606 Pounds of Food, a Week Filled With Love
P346 Weekly Ministry Recap | October 11–17, 2026
As I look back on this week at P346, I am grateful for every opportunity God gave us to show up for our neighbors. Each delivery gave us a chance to offer food, encouragement, and a reminder that someone cares. Each conversation gave us another opportunity to strengthen the relationships that mean so much to this ministry.
From family doorsteps to our low-income housing communities and our Homeless Outreach Food Distributions at Hotel Lafayette, this week was filled with opportunities to put our faith into action. Together, we shared 4,606 pounds of food with our community. ❤️
Our weekly report reflects:
Behind those numbers are neighbors we care about deeply—and volunteers, partners, and donors who help us keep showing up.
Sunday, October 11, brought a particularly sweet opportunity to serve our friends at Hotel Lafayette. Alongside the grocery donations we received from one of our partner stores, Dana and Ami Smith donated catered food from their son’s wedding reception. The residents were so happy and excited to enjoy the delicious food!
Dana and Ami, thank you for allowing the joy of your family’s celebration to reach our community. Your thoughtful generosity helped make the day special. Between the groceries and this additional gift, Sunday’s delivery totaled 310 pounds of food.
Tuesday, October 13, we delivered 592 pounds of food through visits to 6 families and Bushkill House. These deliveries help bring food directly to neighbors who may face challenges getting to a pantry. We are grateful for the opportunity to meet people where they are and offer support with compassion and dignity.
Wednesday, October 14, took us to 3 low-income housing communities: Bushkill House, Hotel Lafayette, and Lutheran Manor. We delivered 1,214 pounds of food, continuing the steady work of caring for our neighbors in Easton and Bethlehem. Returning to these communities allows us to build relationships over time, and we are thankful for those connections.
Thursday, October 15, included deliveries to 7 families and our Homeless Outreach Food Distribution at Hotel Lafayette, with 1,270 pounds of food distributed throughout the day. Gathering with our neighbors experiencing homelessness and others in need is a meaningful part of our week. We want everyone who joins us to feel welcomed, respected, and cared for.
Friday, October 16, we delivered 360 pounds of food to 7 families and Walter House, another low-income housing community we had the opportunity to serve this week. Every stop mattered. Every delivery was another chance to help ease the pressure of putting food on the table.
Saturday, October 17, closed the week with deliveries to 6 families and another Homeless Outreach Food Distribution at Hotel Lafayette, totaling 860 pounds of food.
I especially enjoyed connecting with the families and spending time with our friends at Hotel Lafayette. Having time to chat, share some laughter, and enjoy one another’s company means so much to me. We love spending time with our Hotel Lafayette family, and I am thankful for the friendships that continue to grow through this ministry.
A week like this takes many caring hands, and I want to give a heartfelt SHOUTOUT to our entire P346 crew! 💛
Deb DeLucca, thank you for the heart you bring to serving our local community. Your dedication and willingness to help are deeply appreciated.
Bob Rindos, thank you for your continued support and the time and effort you give to this ministry. We are grateful for you!
Patti Collins, our Director of Deliveries, thank you for the work you do behind the scenes organizing and scheduling deliveries week after week. Your care and attention help keep this ministry moving and our neighbors connected to support.
Terry Collins and every one of our volunteers, thank you for being part of P346. To everyone who helps with pickups, prepares food, loads vehicles, makes deliveries, assists with outreach, or supports the work behind the scenes: your contribution matters, and we appreciate you.
A special thank-you also goes to ProJeCt of Easton for your partnership and the work you do for our community. We are grateful to help bring food to neighbors referred through your pantry who are unable to get there themselves. Working together helps us reach people who need that extra support.
To our grocery store partners, food donors, financial supporters, and everyone who keeps this ministry in prayer, thank you. You help make these deliveries and moments of connection possible.
We thank God for His provision and for every person who helped us serve this week. As we prepare for the days ahead, our prayer is that each person we encounter will experience kindness, renewed hope, and the love of Christ through the care we share.
P346 — Sharing the love of Christ with every delivery. ❤️
