Sharing The Love of Christ With Every Delivery Since 2023

Sharing The Love of Christ With Every Delivery Since 2023

Since 2023, Psalm 346 Ministries Inc. has had the privilege of walking alongside local families during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

And over these past few years, one thing has become very clear to us:

Hardship does not have a certain look.

It can happen to anyone.

It can be the parent working every day who suddenly realizes there isn't enough money left after rent and utilities to put food on the table.

It can be a senior citizen trying to stretch a fixed income just a little further.

It can be someone who has lost a job, experienced an unexpected emergency, or simply fallen behind after months of rising expenses.

It can be the family living right down the street from us.

The people we serve are not statistics.

They are mothers, fathers, grandparents, children, neighbors, friends, and members of our community.

They are people with stories.

People with dreams.

People who have worked hard.

People who never imagined they would find themselves needing to ask someone else for help.

And sometimes, behind the request for assistance is a much deeper story.

There is worry.

There is exhaustion.

There is embarrassment.

There are parents wondering how they are going to feed their children.

There are people lying awake at night doing the math over and over again, trying to figure out which bill can wait.

There are people quietly carrying burdens that nobody around them even knows exist.

That is why Psalm 346 Ministries Inc. exists.

Not simply to hand someone food.

But to remind people that they have not been forgotten.

Since 2023, we have been blessed with opportunities to provide food and assistance to families throughout the Easton and Phillipsburg areas.

Sometimes it means loading up a vehicle with groceries.

Sometimes it means making a delivery directly to someone's home.

Sometimes it means bringing food into low-income housing communities.

Sometimes it means meeting someone during a moment when they feel like they have nowhere else to turn.

And every single time, we try to remember that what may look like an ordinary box of groceries to one person can mean something completely different to the person receiving it.

It can mean:

My children will eat tonight.

I don't have to choose between food and another bill this week.

Someone actually cares about what I'm going through.

Maybe things are going to be okay.

That last one means more to us than almost anything.

Because sometimes people don't just need food.

They need hope.

They need someone to remind them that this difficult chapter of their life does not have to be the final chapter.

They need to know that asking for help does not make them weak.

There should never be shame in saying, "I'm struggling."

There should never be shame in saying, "I need help feeding my family."

Life can change incredibly fast.

One unexpected event can turn stability into uncertainty.

One lost paycheck.

One medical expense.

One broken vehicle.

One increase in rent.

One family emergency.

And suddenly someone who has always been able to take care of themselves finds themselves wondering what they are going to do next.

Psalm 346 Ministries Inc. was created with those moments in mind.

We want to help fill the gap.

We want to stand in that space between "I don't know what I'm going to do" and "Somebody showed up."

And at Psalm 346 Ministries Inc., we believe that showing up matters.

We believe compassion should be more than something we talk about.

We believe love should have hands and feet.

We believe sometimes the most powerful way to share the love of Christ is not through a sermon, but through a knock at someone's door with groceries in your hands and the simple message:

"We heard you needed some help. We're here."

No judgment.

No lecture.

No shame.

Just compassion.

Just dignity.

Just love.

Over the years, we have seen generosity travel through an incredible chain of people.

A donor gives food.

A business contributes something they can spare.

A volunteer helps with a pickup.

Someone sorts donations.

Someone loads a vehicle.

Someone drives across town.

And eventually those groceries arrive in the hands of a family that desperately needed them.

Many people may never meet the family they helped.

But their kindness reaches that family's kitchen table anyway.

That is what community looks like.

And that is what makes this ministry possible.

We could never do this alone.

Every volunteer who has lifted a box...

Every person who has made a pickup...

Every individual who has donated groceries...

Every business or organization that has supported us...

Every person who has shared one of our posts...

Every person who has prayed for this ministry...

You have been part of every family we have been able to help.

You may never know their names.

You may never hear their stories.

But somewhere in our community, there may be a parent who felt an enormous weight come off their shoulders because food arrived at exactly the right time.

There may be children sitting around a table eating dinner because someone decided to give.

There may be someone who had almost lost hope who realized that their community had not forgotten them.

That matters.

That is ministry.

As we look back to where this journey began in 2023, we are grateful.

Grateful for every door that opened.

Grateful for every donation.

Grateful for every volunteer.

Grateful for every opportunity God has given us to serve another person.

But we also know the need has not disappeared.

There are still families struggling quietly.

There are still refrigerators that are nearly empty.

There are still parents worried about tomorrow.

There are still people who need someone to remind them that they matter.

So we will continue.

We will keep picking up.

We will keep delivering.

We will keep serving.

We will keep praying.

We will keep showing up.

And as long as God continues to provide the opportunity, Psalm 346 Ministries Inc. will continue doing everything we can to be a beacon of hope for families in need.

Because sometimes restoring someone's hope begins with something as simple as a box of groceries.

Sometimes love looks like a box of food.

Sometimes ministry happens at someone's front door.

And sometimes a small act of kindness is enough to remind a person who is ready to give up:

You are seen.

You are valued.

You have not been forgotten.

And there is still hope.
