Today we had the privilege of blessing 6 families in our local community, along with making a delivery to the Bushkill House in Downtown Easton.
Days like today are a reminder of exactly why Psalm 346 Ministries Inc. exists.
Behind every box of food is a real person. A mother trying to make groceries stretch until payday. A father doing everything he can to keep food on the table. An elderly neighbor facing circumstances they never imagined. A family quietly struggling and simply hoping someone will notice.
And today, six families were reminded that they are not alone.
For us, this ministry has never been about simply dropping off food and moving on to the next stop. We want the people we meet to know that they are seen, valued, and loved. We want them to know that needing help during a difficult season is nothing to be ashamed of.
Life can change very quickly.
An unexpected bill, reduced work hours, illness in the family, rising grocery costs, or one difficult month can put an ordinary family in a position they never expected to be in.
That is where community matters.
That is where compassion matters.
That is where each one of us has an opportunity to step forward and remind someone that they do not have to walk through a difficult season by themselves.
At P346, we are blessed to be able to make these deliveries, but we cannot do this work alone.
Every box we build is made possible because someone cared enough to give.
Every delivery happens because someone believed the family on the other side of that door mattered.
Every donation—whether it is food, financial support, supplies, or simply sharing our ministry with others—helps us reach another family in need.
We need our community standing with us.
If you have been looking for a way to make a difference locally, please consider supporting Psalm 346 Ministries Inc. Your donation can help us continue building food boxes, making deliveries, reaching individuals experiencing homelessness, and responding when another family reaches out asking for help.
You may never meet the family your donation blesses.
You may never see the relief on their face when food arrives at their door.
You may never hear the private prayer of gratitude that follows.
But your kindness can become part of their story.
And sometimes, knowing that somebody cared enough to show up can restore a little hope during a time when hope was becoming very difficult to find.
Today it was 6 families.
Tomorrow, there will be more.
With the continued support of our friends, neighbors, volunteers, donors, and community partners, we will keep showing up.
We will keep packing the boxes.
We will keep making the deliveries.
And most importantly, we will keep reminding people throughout our community that they have not been forgotten.
Faith. Hope. Compassion.
Sharing the love of Christ with every delivery. ❤️
