900 Pounds of Food, Countless Moments of Love

Some of the most meaningful moments in ministry happen when we take the time to stop and talk—to listen, share a laugh, and simply enjoy being together. Today was filled with those moments, and I’m ending this Saturday with a grateful heart.

On October 10, P346 delivered to 6 families and hosted our Homeless Outreach Food Distribution at Hotel Lafayette in Downtown Easton. Altogether, we completed 7 deliveries and events, sharing 900 pounds of food with our neighbors.

Behind those numbers are people we care about deeply, and I’m thankful for the time we had together today.

I really enjoyed chatting with the families along our delivery stops. Those conversations are such a special part of what we do. Being able to bring food to someone’s door is a blessing, and having the opportunity to spend a little time together makes each visit even more meaningful. We want our neighbors to know they are remembered, valued, and loved.

That same sense of friendship carried into our time at Hotel Lafayette. Spending time with the residents and our friends experiencing homelessness during our Homeless Outreach Food Distribution was a joy. We always love being with our friends, catching up, and enjoying one another’s company. I’m grateful that this ministry gives us opportunities to build relationships and continue showing up for one another.

This is at the heart of P346: sharing the love of Christ through practical care, kindness, and time freely given.

A heartfelt SHOUTOUT to Patti Collins, our Director of Deliveries! So much of what happens at P346 begins with the wonderful work Patti does behind the scenes. Week in and week out, she organizes and schedules our deliveries, helping turn a busy calendar into opportunities to serve. Her time, care, and dedication make a difference for our crew and the families who count on us. Patti, thank you for all the work that people may never see, but that we appreciate so very much!

And a huge SHOUTOUT to the entire crew at P346! Every pickup, every box prepared, every delivery, and every helping hand contributes to this ministry. Thank you for giving your time and putting your faith into action with such love for our neighbors. I’m grateful to serve alongside you.

Tonight, I thank God for the food we were able to share, the people who helped make today possible, and every conversation along the way. It is a privilege to be welcomed into our neighbors’ lives, and we never want to take that for granted.

To our families, our Hotel Lafayette friends, and everyone we spent time with today: thank you for the gift of your company. We always love spending time with you. ❤️
